BruinSportsReport.com The Bruins took on a very talented and skilled El Camino College team in a seven-on-seven contest. El Camino featured Miami bound wide receiver Kayne Farquharson (6-2, 185, 4.4) and Florida International University transfer, quarterback Tavares Kendrick (6-4, 235, 4.57).
According to sources this group of athletes played USC tough during their seven-on-seven earlier in the week.
Though UCLA ended up winning the contest by a couple of scores they were tested by the outstanding passing of Kendrick and the receiving skills of Farquharson and another Floridian Corey Surrencey (6-4, 207, 4.45).
It was hard to believe that Farquharson and Surrencey never played high school ball, but have a lot talent.
