Improved offensive front likely in 2006
The Ole Miss offensive line got a big boost Wednesday afternoon when John Jerry practiced for the first time as a fully cleared member of the Rebel football team.
That was just the latest improvement to a group of players looking to make better on a disappointing year in 2005.
The redevelopment of the line started in January with the addition of noted offensive line guru Art Kehoe to the Ole Miss offensive staff.
In the spring the offensive line went through a shuffle and added some immediate help in junior college transfer Corey Actis. A dedication to the weight room in the offseason has the Rebels' front five looking good headed into the 2006 season.
