Irish lead way for junior tailback
Notre Dame counts its alumni among its biggest recruiting tools.
In the case of junior running back Jonas Gray, the Irish employed that advantage long before Notre Dame began courting the 5-foot-9, 206-pound athlete from Detroit, Mich. Gray attends Detroit County Day, the same program that produced former Irish wide receiver Javin Hunter, who was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the 2002 NFL Draft.
