Insider Report: FSU looking to become state champs

Warchant.com There's no way to sugarcoat it -- Florida State has been a major disappointment this season. In fact, 2006 could go down as the worst season since Bobby Bowden's first as FSU's head coach in 1976.
Not only does FSU have a mediocre record at 6-5, they have dropped games to unranked teams and suffered the first ever home shutout under Bowden falling 30-0 to Wake Forest. The win-loss record is a far cry from the preseason expectations considering some media outlets predicted a top 10 finish and another ACC championship.
