Irby finds a home
Texas commit Blaine Irby and his St. Bonaventure teammates saw their season come to an end last week at the hands of an upset loss to Hart last week, 27-17, on the strength of two defensive touchdowns by Hart in the fourth quarter.
It's a tough loss to get over, no doubt about it. But Irby can hold his head up high knowing that he had another strong season, and he's already turning his attention towards getting ready for life as a Longhorn.
The versatile blue-chip prospect played mostly linebacker for St. Bonaventure this season, and there's been debate all year whether or not he'd play at defense for Texas or line up at either tight end or H-back. In fact, up until recently, the Texas coaches were even unsure of where they'd utilize Irby's talents. It looks like the debate has been settled.
