While being a virtual unknown to the recruiting word, west Tennessee standout Theron Kadri of Brighton High has been far from that with local coaching staffs.

The 6-foot-3, 245 pound defensive end/linebacker has had the Vanderbilt and Tennessee nipping at his heels this fall. Recently, Kadri made his choice, committing to Vanderbilt after receiving a scholarship offer.

Kadri, who has been the Cardinals leading tackler the last two seasons, blossomed this year and helped lead Brighton to back-to-back Class 4-A playoff appearences.
