Jackson not finished

USCFootball.com Defensive end Lawrence Jackson had high expectations for his 2006 season. Adjusting to a new defense contributed to a slow start for Jackson, but he surged through the last several games making his presence felt in the opponent's backfield. USCFootball.com talked to the All-Pac-10 Second Team selection about his decision to return to school.
"I am excited to be around here for another year," Jackson told us over the weekend. "At one point I was ready to leave but then I decided to stay and it just feels good to be back. I really feel as happy as I have all year long."
A contributing factor to Jackson's early struggles was the new 3-4 defense the staff installed.
