LaRon Landry is just a fledging student of the game of football.

Landry is not one who sits down and watches numerous hours of tape. For the LSU senior safety, a college football contest is just like a sandlot afternoon game.

"I just like to play," said Landry, who is getting ready for his final game in a Tigers uniform next week against Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl. "I watch some tape, but I just react when I'm on the field."

During his four years at LSU, Landry has been on championship teams and has earned many individual honors. While starting as a freshman, the Tigers won the Southeastern Conference and national titles.
