McNeil eyeing four schools
Being able to fill needs is one of the basic points of recruiting, and more often than not, the team that fills its needs the best is the team that competes regularly for championships. One of Tennessee's biggest needs this off-season is in the secondary. The Vols were so thin in the secondary this past season that the starters couldn't leave the field when Tennessee put the number two's into the game.
Phillip Fulmer and Co. have the task of replacing Antwan Stewart and Jon Wade due to graduation and Inky Johnson to a possible career ending shoulder injury. Tennessee already has a commitment from the nation's number one defensive back, Eric Berry, and several other athletic hybrid players who could play several different positions, but one player who could go along way to feeling Tennessee's need in the secondary is Mobile, Alabama(Davidson) Safety Michael McNeil.
