Greenville offensive lineman and Clemson verbal commit David Smith took his one-and-only official visit this weekend, a trip to Clemson.

"Everything was really good. Cory Lambert was my player-host," Smith told Tigerillustrated.com Sunday. "We had dinner Friday and then went over to coach (Tommy) Bowden's house for dessert. It was a lot of fun."

Smith said he and Lambert spent a lot of time "touring the school."
