Saban visits Corley
Nick Saban and his staff had a busy weekend, and Tuesday the head coach and an assistant spent the day in Mobile. One of the stops in the morning was to McGill-Toolen High School where they met with Rivals100 defensive end Sidell Corley.
"Coach Saban and Lance Thompson came to the school today, and we had a good talk," said Corley. "I was looking forward to meeting him face-to-face, and it went well. The first thing I noticed was how confident he was, and he has a right to be. It's obvious he has a plan in place and is prepared to win. He went over his basic style of play on defense, and explained he was looking for ends that were my size. He compared it to boxing, and said you don't compare a 220-pound guy to a 260-pounder. He said the SEC was a heavyweight division, and that I could come in ready to play.
