The action never stops
Hey Longhorn fans, don't blink or you'll miss something.
Mack Brown and the Texas staff hosted two recruits last weekend - it was believed they were the Horns' final two targets - and gained a commitment from Tyrell Higgins while Christian Scott continues to weigh his options.
But the news didn't stop there. On Monday, word trickled out that the Longhorns were interested in two more players, and it turns out that one of them has wasted no time in giving Texas a verbal pledge.
San Antonio Churchill tight end Ian Harris, who had been committed to Missouri since late November, said on Monday that he's decided to become a Longhorn.
The 6-foot-3, 217-pound Harris had been text messaging with Texas assistant coach Duane Akina during his time at the Army All-American game, and the two parties finally touched base with a phone conversation.
