Larry Smith is solid with Vanderbilt
On August 15th, the Vanderbilt coaching staff secured a verbal commitment from one of the top quarterback prospects in the south when Prattville (AL) signal caller Larry Smith pulled the trigger on a Commodore offer. The 6-foot-2, 200 pound Rivals.com three-star prospect was believed to be the best quarterback in the state of Alabama and chose the Commodores over offers from Louisville and Southern Mississippi as well as strong interest from Georgia Tech, Auburn, Alabama, Florida State, Tennessee, and others.
