[rl]It's no secret that Southeastern Conference football programs attract major talent every year, but this year the conference's dominance on the recruiting trail was unprecedented.

Seven of the nation's top 10 recruiting classes were put together by SEC schools. Florida, the defending national champion, had the nation's top class. Tennessee, LSU, South Carolina, Auburn, Georgia and Alabama also finished in the top 10.

The SEC Signing Day dream team features some of the top prospects in those classes.

The Gators are well-represented on the list. Five offensive players, including five-star quarterback Cameron Newton and wide receiver Deonte Thompson made the squad. Four defensive players - including safeties Major Wright and Jerimy Finch - made the list.

Tennessee, which had the conference's second-ranked class, had three representatives. Five-star cornerback prospect Eric Berry highlights the Vols' recruits.

LSU finished with the SEC's third-ranked class and also had three representatives on the team. Five-star wide receiver Terrence Toliver and five-star defensive back Chad Jones, who made the team as a defensive "athlete," highlight the future Tigers on the team.

Alabama (three), South Carolina (two), Auburn (two), Georgia (one) and Ole Miss (one) also are represented.

RB: [db]Lennon Creer 6-1, 202, Tatum (Texas) Tennessee Will be a tremendous success when he gets the carries to build a rhythm. DT: Torrey Davis 6-5, 290, Seffner (Fla.) Armwood Florida The Sunshine State's top overall prospect will make an early impact at UF. WR: Terrance Toliver 6-4, 185, Hempstead (Texas) LSU Will be feared by defensive backs once he reaches his potential. DT: Kerry Murphy 6-5, 315, Hoover (Ala.) Alabama Murphy's size, athleticism and upside give him the chance to be special. WR: Deonte Thompson 6-0, 180, Belle Glade (Fla.) Glades Central Florida Thompson's speed makes him special, but he improved other parts of his game this year. LB: Lorenzo Edwards 6-2, 220, Orlando (Fla.) Edgewater Florida Now that he has found his way at linebacker, his upside his tremendous. TE: Aron White 6-4, 213, Columbia (Mo.) Rock Bridge Georgia The most athletic tight end prospect in the country will continue the Bulldogs' tradition of excellence at the position. LB: Chris Donald 6-2, 220, Huntingdon (Tenn.) Tennessee Has outstanding lateral movement and is a big hitter. OL: Lee Ziemba 6-7, 295, Rogers (Ark.) Auburn The Natural State's top overall prospect has the frame and footwork to be special in college. LB: Rolando McClain 6-4, 240, Decatur (Ala.) Alabama Great size and athleticism. Should find a home at middle linebacker in college. OL: Quintin Richardson 6-4, 265, Columbia (S.C.) Spring Valley South Carolina Athletic big man has good feet, strength and athleticism. CB: Eric Berry 5-11, 194, Fairburn (Ga.) Creekside Tennessee Georgia's top prospect will make an impact next season in Knoxville. OL: T-Bob Hebert 6-3, 256, Norcross (Ga.) Greater Atlanta Christian LSU The Southeast's best center prospect plays with a nasty streak. CB: Chris Lett 6-2, 195, Pensacola (Fla.) Alabama Lett has excellent size and speed for a prospect that plays his position. OL: James Wilson 6-4, 308, Saint Augustine (Fla.) Nease Florida The most athletic offensive line prospect in the country. S: Jerimy Finch 6-1, 203, Indianapolis (Ind.) Warren Central Florida Big safety would be an asset to any secondary. OL: Rishaw Johnson 6-4, 315, Hammond (La.) Ole Miss Has tremendous upside on the interior of the offensive line. DB: Major Wright 6-0, 200, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Saint Thomas Aquinas Florida Brings a tremendous amount of moxie to a defense. ATH: Joe Haden 5-10, 189, Fort Washington (Md.) Friendly Florida Can do a lot of things with the ball in his hands. ATH: Chad Jones 6-2, 220, Baton Rouge (La.) Southern Lab LSU Who cares where you play him, just let him run around and hit people.
