Trickett making his mark on the offensive line
With a complete overhaul of the offensive coaching staff there were bound to be some major changes to the football program. Nowhere is that change being felt more than on the offensive line.
After several years of suffering through an underachieving offensive front, Bobby Bowden went back to his West Virginia roots and hired one of college football's top offensive line coaches in Rick Trickett.
It didn't take long for the 58-year old coach to make his mark at Florida State.
In just a little over a month since stepping foot on campus, Trickett has changed the way his unit trains, what film they study and even how they eat. During his coaching tenure at West Virginia, the Mountaineer offensive line was known for being undersized but very effective. Trickett is hoping to bring that same formula to Florida State.
