D.C’s Samuels starting to get Hoya looks

HoyaReport.com Feb. 28 - During the 2005-2006 school year Jamar Samuels had an up-and-down year as a student-athlete Washington, D.C.'s Archbishop Carroll High School. Despite having a good 2005 AAU team season with D.C. Assault, Samuels had an up-and-down high school campaign due in part to academic uncertainties. After again playing AAU/travel team ball for D.C. Assault, instead of heading back to Carroll and the nationally respected Washington Catholic Athletic Conference for the 2006-2007 school year, Samuels traveled South to Lenoir, N.C., and the Patterson School. Samuels (6-8, 200) is receiving interest from Tennessee, Georgetown, South Florida and others.
