Sophomore Cy Ridge quarterback Russell Shepard got the hard sell from Texas A&M coaches last night at A&M's Night of Champions.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Shepard has other visits lined up, but after his visit to College Station Wednesday he named a leader.

Shepard has verbal offers from Texas A&M and Texas Tech. Propects in the class of 2009 cannot be offered in writing until next year.
