Cats make statement with win over Tech

GoPowercat.com OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. � Kansas State had a difficult time containing Texas Tech's Jarrius Jackson during Friday's Big 12 Tournament Quarterfinal at the Ford Center, but the Wildcats found little else difficult about their contest against the Red Raiders. K-State got production from a variety of sources and cruised to a 66-45 win, a victory that may have finally put an end to the debate concerning the Wildcats' NCAA Tournament chances.
The Wildcats (22-10, 10-6) had possibly already done enough in the eyes of K-State Coach Bob Huggins to claim a bid with its regular season performance, but the win over Tech (21-12, 9-7) figures to erase the doubts of any who still had questions about the Wildcats' credentials.
