Long Beach (Calif.) Poly defensive tackle Jurrell Casey is addicted to chaos. At 6-foot-1, 265-pounds, Casey was the cog in a Jackrabbit defense that helped carry Poly to a second round playoff berth.

Like dynamite on the interior line, Casey exploded for 104 tackles and 10 sacks last year. His abilities were unheralded, but not overlooked.

While he earned All-CIF honors as an offensive lineman, Casey's talents as a defensive lineman are just beginning to be recognized.

This week, Casey received, arguably, his greatest accolade.

"Yes, I got an offer from USC Friday," said Casey. "They contacted my coach (at Poly), and he told me I had the offer.
