The talent pool in Syracuse, N.Y., is as deep as it has ever been. This year it features Latavius Murray, Marcus Sales, and Nick Lepak in the Rivals.com 250 Players to Watch. One player who did not make the list but who could possibly be an all around better prospect is DeAndre Preaster.

Preaster, at 6-foot-3, 225 pounds is an athlete that excels at anything he does. Recently he was named Central New York's Player of the Year for basketball.

This past football season Preaster was named fourth team all state as a safety, but he does most of his damage on the offensive side of the ball.

Preaster's top five includes Ohio State, Syracuse, Florida, Michigan and Florida State.
