Offense dominates defense in second scrimmage
The Georgia Bulldogs had their second scrimmage of the spring Monday afternoon and the offense topped the defense with some big plays and an improved offensive line. Generally the spring is a time for the defense to shine, but the offense got the best of the defense during Monday's scrimmage.
"Overall it was a pretty good day and it was one of those spring scrimmages were the offense had the best of it. That does not happen very often around here or around the country really. This may have been the best offensive scrimmage since I have been here, so that his more proof that I made a good decision in getting the heck out of the way," joked a jovial head coach Mark Richt. "The guys did a good job controlling it for most of the day and made some big plays."
