2007 Class Spotlight -- Terrell Edwards

HerdNation.com Mobile (Ala.) UMS-Wright running back Terrell Edwards (6-foot, 205 pounds 4.5 seconds) might have been the most important recruit landed in Marshall's 2007 class. He was seen as a must-have recruit and despite drawing heavy interest from in-state power, Auburn, The Herd came out on top and landed the dynamic back.
Signing Day has come and gone. How are things going?
Edwards - "Things are going extremely well. I am focused on getting ready to make an early contribution at Marshall and getting ready for the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star game on June 2.
Although Edwards has not been cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse for freshman eligibility, he is ready to go. How is preparing?
Edwards - "I am taking the ACT again this weekend. I have the score that I need but I can't slip. I need to continue to improve to make sure I am cleared. Other than working in the classroom, I have been hitting the weights, working with a speed trainer, and breaking down film of myself and various other backs that I admire."
Edwards has not returned to Huntington since his official visit. When will he make his return?
Edwards - "I have fourteen days left in school. I am thinking about reporting to Marshall early, maybe even as early as May. I have a bunch of friends up there and I am excited to get back."
What are Edwards' goals when reporting to Marshall?
