Katoa has erupted
Every year around this time the term "great upside potential" is tossed around by NFL and NBA draft pundits. Surely Salt Lake City (Utah) Cottonwood outside linebacker Lynn Katoa would be one of the guys they slap with this tag.
The high school junior has only been playing football for a little over a year, but his production is impressive enough to raise the eyebrows and draw scholarship offers from some of the biggest programs in the country.
Katoa, 6-foot-2 and 220-pounds, was recently offered a scholarship to the University of Southern California.
Originally raised in Texas, Katoa knows a little bit about Dallas Cowboys football; which makes the fact that Ken Norton Jr. - a former Cowboy linebacker - is trying hard to bring Katoa to campus all the much more flattering.
