Big Ten pursues Green

Peegs.com Just before he led his Saginaw High team to the Michigan Class A State Championship, Draymond Green got the dramatic news. Kentucky head coach Tubby Smith was leaving Lexington to take the head coaching position at Minnesota. The development came just about a month after the 6-foot-7, 230-pound power forward gave a verbal commitment to the Wildcats.
The good news was that Green had not signed anything and it wasn't long before he announced that his recruitment was open once again. This weekend we caught up with him at the King James Shooting Stars Classic and he confirmed that he is basically back to square one.
Soon after word broke that Green was on the market again, Big Ten and other programs jumped in quickly. Among the programs that reportedly offered were Indiana, Michigan, and Minnesota while Michigan State and Tennessee were among the programs showing quick or renewed interest.
