Angleton all-around dynamo D.J. Monroe committed to his dream school, Texas, February 11 and last Sunday he attended Texas' mini-camp as a future Longhorn. With that label comes a big X on the back and every performance is put under the microscope.
One thing about Monroe, he is used to having a bullseye attached to his back as a two way all district player as a sophomore, the 4A 100 meter champion as sophomore and the co-MVP of district 23-4A as a junior. It should come as no surprise that Sunday was just another walk in the park for Monroe.
