At 5-foot-10, 239 pounds, Seffner (FL) Armwood's Eric Smith is the definition of a bruising running back. And his athletic ability has caught the attention of the LSU coaching staff, as Smith said he received a scholarship offer from the Tigers within the last few weeks.

Smith has narrowed his list to six, and LSU makes the cut along with Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Miami and Alabama. Smith said he's leaning toward Auburn and Clemson at this point in the recruiting season, but he's definitely considering the Tigers.
