All-Star game loaded with Longhorns
The Texas High School Coaches Association all-star football game is eight days away and will feature some of the top future Texas Longhorn players, as it seemingly does on a yearly basis. This year the game set for 7:30 pm on July 31 at TCU's Amon Carter Field and will feature nine future Texas Longhorns.
Participating for the North team, coached by Kent Jackson of Sweetwater, will be Garland receiver Malcolm Williams, Plano East linebacker Keenan Robinson, South Grand Prairie offensive tackle Tray Allen and Aledo defensive tackle Michael Wilcoxon.
The four future Longhorns join future Texas Tech players Lonnie Edwards of Brownsboro and A&M Consolidated's Detron Lewis, as well as future Baylor Bears Antonio Johnson of Waco High and Chris Francis of 5A state champion Cedar Hill. Those future Big 12 players will also be joined by small town star Terrance Ganaway (University of Houston) of Dekalb, who will also be looking to show that he is deserving of the same attention.
