The 6-foot-6, 258 pound Freeman will be making his first visit to Memorial Stadium as a starting quarterback, and what many Husker fans still remember him for is the way he backed out of his verbal commitment to Nebraska in December of 2005.

"I don't look at it much different than any other game," Freeman said. "It's a big game because we're playing Nebraska and they are one of the better teams in the country. But as far as what happened in the past with them, I'm over it, so I'm not even thinking about it.
"It should be a good time. That type of stadium should get pretty load, but fortunately for me I'll have a couple games to get ready to play in that type of atmosphere."
