Plenty of highlights as Fall Camp continues
Fall Camp continued on Tuesday as the Wildcats headed back to Rincon Vista Complex after Monday's practice at Tucson High.
The bulk of the practice was rather uneventful up until 7-on-7's. The team spent a good amount of time on special teams, working on punt and kick returns.
During middle drill, Nicholas Grigsby learned the tough way about what happens when you fumble in college. To the running backs' credit, they've been holding onto the ball all Fall Camp.
While there wasn't much going on before 7-on-7 and 11-on-11, those two drills provided plenty to write about.
UA quarterback Willie Tuitama was sharp on 7-on-7, completing 12-14 passes, by our count, with one of the incompletes being a drop.
Tuitama started off with a 15-yard route to Anthony Johnson and then on the next play found Mike Thomas for a 30-35 yard pass. Those two would end up having bigger plays later in the evening
