Big change on the defensive line
In a move to strengthen the defense, Arkansas coach Houston Nutt has inserted senior Chris Wade into the starting spot at defensive end.
Wade is now the starter opposite junior Antwain Robinson with sophomore Malcolm Sheppard now starting inside with junior Ernest Mitchell.
"Right now, that's our best 11," Nutt said. "Chris is coming, but Malcolm didn't do anything wrong, he's outstanding. You hate to move him, but the best 11 right now is Sheppard and Mitchell inside with Wade and Robinson outside."
Nutt and the Razorbacks will likely get senior Marcus Harrison back after the season opener against Troy. Harrison is projected to start alongside Mitchell inside, but Nutt is only concerned with getting better right now.
