Dawgs wrap things up in Athens
An interesting scenario took place in the third quarter of Saturday's game against Oklahoma State when center Fernando Velasco had a sudden issue with his knee brace and had to leave the field.
Georgia faced a third-and-short play to convert the first down.
Fortunately, redshirt freshman left guard Chris Davis didn't flinch. Davis slid over to center with true freshman Clint Boling rushing in at the last moment to take over for David at left guard.
"Coach Stacy Searels was screaming for a timeout, but it was too late," Georgia coach Mark Richt said. "Fortunately, we got the play off without any problem."
