Lockridge hopes to spark running game
BOULDER, Colo. - Baptism by fire. Running back Brian Lockridge made his college debut last Saturday night against Florida State, which features one of the nation's best defenses personnel wise.
The 5-foot-7, 175-pound freshman carried the ball four times for a net of just two yards.
How nervous was Lockridge playing on national television and in front of nearly 53,000 fans?
"It was too late to be nervous [once I got in the game]," he explained. "But I did learn after that game that I need to be more patient and look for the holes. I have a lot of learning to do, but I have to learn real quick.
