Practice Notebook: More Changes at LB
Linebacker Marcus Washington's solid game against Western Carolina apparently did not go unnoticed by Georgia coaches. Wednesday, Washington said he's been working almost exclusively with the first team and will likely start at "Mike" linebacker Saturday at Alabama.
"Coach (Linebacker coach John Jancek) told me I had a good game and said he was going to make some changes, and they would experiment and see how things go," said Washington, who collected six tackles against the Catamounts. "It feels great. But I'm still not proven. Last week, I did have a good game, but it was against Western Carolina. This week it's a big SEC opponent."
