Elisara looks ahead
Huskies defensive tackle Cameron Elisara went to Ferris High School in Spokane, WA. Cameron's father, Matt Elisara, played as a defensive lineman for WSU, and was a part of the team that went to the Holiday Bowl in 1981. Obviously the Elisara household was more Crimson than Purple, but that didn't stop Cameron from accepting a scholarship to play football for Huskies.
Elisara told Husky Digest part of the reason why he went with UW when asked about Huskies defensive line coach Randy Hart.
"He's a big reason why I'm here. He's a really good coach and knows what he's talking about. It takes a lot to kind of satisfy his coaching needs. So it's kind of a constant pursuit," Elisara said.
Hart seems to like the progress Elisara is making, telling Husky Digest today that, "He's improving".
