Another Boren getting looks
Linebacker Mike Boren made a name for himself as one of U-M's top linebacker of the 1980s, and son Justin is off to a great start in continuing the legacy, starting at center and playing well for the 2007 team. Yet another Boren - some believe he's the most talented of the bunch - is now terrorizing offenses at Pickerington (Ohio) Central. Will he continue the Boren pipeline to Michigan?
It's not as sure a thing as it might have seemed a few years ago, when class of 2009 prospect Zach Boren all but willed his brother to Michigan despite a serious push from Ohio State. Though he grew up maize and blue and roots for his brother, he'll make the best decision for him, Boren said recently.
Boren visited OSU unofficially for the Bucks' game with Northwestern, impressed at what he saw. Convincing them he's not a U-M lock has been tough, but future trips to Columbus are already in the works.
