Woods having big season

HuskerOnline.com Nebraska has recruited plenty of possession receiver types through their last few classes, but the fast, elusive receiver who can be a consistent playmaker, as well as being sure-handed, has eluded them thus far. That may be about to change with the arrival Ohio product D.J. Woods next season.
Strongsville High is off to a 4-2 start to their 2007 season, with a game against Lakewood on tap for this week. They remain on track for the playoffs, and Woods is a big reason why.
As with all of the Husker 2008 commits, the NU coaches stay in regular contact with Woods.
