One of the LSU football programs top targets at a position of need gave his verbal commitment to Les Miles this weekend after an exceptional official visit.

Florida blue-chip quarterback D.C. Jefferson (6-5, 240, 4.7) of Winter Haven, Florida was a soft verbal commitment to Rutgers but after this weekend he is now firm to LSU.

"It went great, I had a lot of fun," Jefferson said.
