The recruiting class of 2008 is winding down, with National Signing Day just a few weeks away, but the 2009 class appears to be strong and will take center stage in mid-February.

One of the most highly decorated players on the University of Southern California's radar is Justin Chaisson, a defensive lineman from Las Vegas (Nevada) Bishop Gorman. At 6-foot-5, 252-pounds, Chaisson ranks No. 30 on the Rivals100 for 2009.

While Chaisson goes to school in Nevada, he's no stranger to Southern California - both the area and the university.
