LB overcomes great odds
Coming down the final stretch Oklahoma's recruiting picture seems to be like an impressionistic painting mixed with a dance step. Two steps forward, and the painting seems to make sense, two steps back and it's becomes confusing. New names continue to pop up and one of the newest is Scranton (Pa.) Lackawanna C.C. three-star linebacker Mike Balogun who was just another name to Sooner fans last week, but now he is one to remember.
That's because the 6-foot-2, 250-pound middle linebacker prospect has cast his lot with the Sooners.
"I'm really glad to tell you I'm a Sooner," Balogun said. "I just committed.
"Everything fell in place, I like what I see at Oklahoma," Balogun said. "The situation was one of a kind type of thing. I had to take advantage of it. I can come in and have a good chance of playing immediately, I enjoyed myself here."
