Adams ready to sign with Auburn
There's probably not a player on Auburn's commit list more looking forward to Signing Day than Kennesaw (Ga.) Harrison wide receiver Darvin Adams.
In a departure from many of his classmates, Adams visited just one school, Auburn Jan. 18, and remained firmly committed to the Tigers since making his decision back in August.
In fact, Harrison head coach Bruce Cobleigh said Adams will be one of the first players to sign and fax his National Letter of Intent to Auburn Wednesday morning.
"We'll fax that letter about 7 a.m. CT," said Cobleigh. "Auburn is getting a well-rounded, high character young man who had a great year for us."
While AU head coach Tommy Tuberville saved most of his final in-home visits for recruits on the bubble, it turned out his final trip was to Harrison High School Friday afternoon.
