Williston duo with loads of talent
Williston, Fla. running back prospect Travis Evans rushed for over 1,200 yards as a junior and has more in store for 2008. Though he has yet to receive his first offer, Evans will be a name to keep an eye out for and a prospect that should have several options down the line.
Evans lists Auburn, Alabama, FIU, Georgia Southern, Louisville, Purdue and Stanford as the schools that have been showing him the most interest early on in the process. However he does have a favorite program that he would love to hear from.
"I'm from Tallahassee but I'm a Gator fan," Evans said.
Evans recently measured in at 5-foot-10 167 pounds at the Tallahassee Five-Star Academy but though he has a skinny frame, he runs with power.
"I have power," he said. "I can run past you. I'm very quick and I don't stray from contact. I'm not gonna try to run to the sideline. I'm gonna try to run up the middle. I can bounce it but I'm going to try to run North-South not East-West."
Evans is currently running track where he can long jump 22 feet.
