Prince: It feels good to be home
Munir Prince was a high school standout in the state of Missouri, helping lead DeSmet to a state title. Prince originally committed to Iowa, but ended up signing with Notre Dame. After two years in South Bend, the St. Louis star has returned to the Show-Me State. Prince transferred into Mizzou at semester and PowerMizzou.com caught up with him after his first practice as a Tiger.
PowerMizzou.com: How does it feel to get here, to officially be a part of the team and get things going?
Munir Prince: "It feels good to finally be home. I'm getting used to the safety position. I'm going to take this redshirt year and hopefully get accustomed to the school."
PM: What were your reasons for leaving Notre Dame and coming back to Mizzou?
MP: "Number one, I wanted to be closer to home. I felt I needed to be closer to my family and that was my main reason for coming back."
