OU hits Vegas jackpot
Once again Oklahoma went to Las Vegas and once again they hit the jackpot as the Sooners landed one of the most sought after defensive linemen in the country when they received the verbal commitment from four-star defensive end Justin Chaisson (6-5, 260, 4.7) from Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman.
"I took an unofficial visit to Oklahoma," Chaisson said. "I saw them practice and scrimmage and I really liked it.
"My mom and my dad went out there and they were showed the academic center. We got involved with all the coaches and we got a good feeling about Oklahoma.
"I decided that I wanted to go to Oklahoma yesterday (April 14th)," Chaisson said. "I was going to wait and take it slow, but I thought that Oklahoma was a great fit for me. Why wait when I knew the outcome would be Oklahoma.
