Hughes comes up huge for offense

IrishIllustrated.com Charlie Weis won't name a starter at halfback, and sophomore-to-be Robert Hughes says it doesn't really matter. But once you sift past all the coach- and player-speak, you realize that the 6-foot-0, 225-pounder does the best job among the three halfbacks of combining power, elusiveness and speed. His 100-yard rushing effort Saturday in the Blue-Gold Game was yet another sign.
