USC in Seminole territory
When leaving the state of California to recruit, Pete Carroll's mantra is to offer scholarships to the nation's best players.
But unlike other college coaches, Carroll has specifically defined that standard as scouting for first-round draft picks. Friday, Seminole High School became Radio City Music Hall.
Although absent of lights and cameras, the Sanford (Fla.) trio of Andre Debose, Ray Ray Armstrong and Dyron Dye saw plenty of action. In a rare, if not unprecedented move for USC, all three prospects were offered scholarships at the same time.
