Stricker staying busy this spring
Washington (MO) High receiver Kerwin Stricker committed to Missouri back in February after his first visit to the Columbia campus. In the months since, Stricker has made a couple more visits to Mizzou.
Stricker says he has not had a lot of chances to talk to the Tiger coaches lately. He has been busy running track this spring, where he competes in the 110-yard dash, the 300 hurdles, the long jump and the 4X100 relay.
Size and speed are two things that have Tiger fans hopeful Stricker can continue a strong lineage of St. Louis area wideouts in recent seasons. Will Franklin was drafted in the fourth round by the Kansas City Chiefs two weeks ago. Jeremy Maclin was an all-American as a freshman and Rolandis Woodland was as highly regarded as any of them coming out of high school two years ago. Stricker is well aware of the recent success of those players.
