Oakland Park (Fla.) Northeast defensive end David Gilbert has been a hot commodity lately. The 6-4, 214-pound prospect is ranked as one of the top 250 players in the country by Rivals.com and now his offer list is starting to look like that of a four-star prospect.

The catalyst to Gilbert's recent wave of offers appears to have been a spring practice at Northeast High this past weekend where college coaches from several schools across the country were in attendance.
