Fittingly, head coach Lou Cerro describes his star pupil as the team's rock-steady leader during Banks' four-year starting term.

"He's gotten better each and every year," said Cerro, who watched the speedy Banks rack up 878 yards rushing and 9 touchdowns. "It's a tribute to him, and he just makes his teammates better around him."
