McHaney starting to think about visits.
Through the years few teams have had more success recruiting against Oklahoma within it's own state borders than Tennessee. Players like Jonathan Brown, Robert Meachem, and Marcus Nash are some of the brightest prospects to emerge from the state in years and all found their collegiate homes on Rocky Top. Over the past few years Oklahoma has made idle ventures into the land of the Vols, and 2009 now appears to be no different.
In this year's pursuit Oklahoma has long been tracking five-star wide receiver Marlon Brown but has now taken an interest in Brentwood (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy three-star tight end Thad McHaney.
The 6-foot-5, 220-pound prospect from one of Tennessee's most prodigious programs has taken notice.
