Defense steps it up on day 7
Defense, defense, defense. The Beavers might have only three returning starters from last year, but a plethora of backups and newcomers are beginning to step up and fill the gaps. While its still very to tell who is going to be in the deep rotation, many plays were made from numerous defenders on Thursday afternoon. It got to the point where coaches were getting upset with the offense for not producing. While that doesn't sound good for the other side of the football, there were a lot of positives to be mentioned. Here is what I saw from Thursday's practice:
Potential starting quarterback Lyle Moevao really stepped up today and had arguably his best fall camp practice. He was very accurate with his mid-range throws and his deep passes.
